Coffee + Clay is both a blank slate and a crowded, colorful canvas.

It’s a place where new ideas are born, thoughts are fleshed out and wrestled with, and creativity can run out of my brain and right onto a page.

It’s also a place for self-reflection, contemplation, and growth.

Why coffee?

Coffee is how I start my day.

It symbolizes a beginning.

But not a singular, isolated beginning.

The beginning that we all get to experience every day.

Because every day offers a new opportunity to start being more like the person you want to be.


Why clay?

Clay is moldable and can take on new forms.

It symbolizes our ability to change.

But change doesn’t happen by accident.

You have to work the clay into something beautiful.

And that isn’t easy.

It might take starting over a hundred times before your clay stops looking like a lump of nothing and becomes a beautiful mug with purpose and utility.
